B&N Emeryville break room
- a bulletin board to help us with scheduling
How it works
1) Write down the shift
change you want to get - or to swap - and remember to put down the
date/date AND your name and contact info. (Writing or changing anything on this page is by way of editing - see the 30-second Wiki Guide at the bottom of this page )
2) Anyone who wants to give away a shift or anyone who wants to 'adopt' a shift - leaves a message.
3) If you and a fellow bookseller agree on some kind of a swap, please inform the scheduling manager as soon as possible. ALL
scheduling changes (1) must be approved by the appropriate
manager and (2) noted on the store's Breakroom Time Sheet.

the 30 second wiki guide
This is the first page of the BREAKROOM web space - the breakroom 'wiki.'(this page is a 'wiki' - an online bulletin board software from Seedwiki.com)
You add comments and replies by way of editing these pages.
to edit a wiki page:
seedwiki's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)
editor lets you create and edit your wiki pages the same way you create
documents in your familiar word processing software. If you can type,
you can use seedwiki.
Using your Windows/Firefox(or Mozilla) -browser- or Mac OS X/firefox-browser- computer,
1. simply click edit page on any page, and you will be able to make the changes you want to make.
2. Save when you are satisfied.
If you make an error, you can edit again to fix it. If you have mistakenly discarded something -- just click on versions, open the last version and retrieve what you need, or simply revert to that version (edit and save a version to revert to it).
